We write sh*tty first drafts to get something on the page. But how about bringing those drafts to the stage? Toad Hall Editions, a small press in Northport, returns to host an open mic at Marshall Wharf. Enjoy a locally made brew and bring your first drafts, rough drafts, and everything-in-between drafts to share in a warm, welcoming atmosphere! Poetry and short pieces only (4-6 minutes per reader). Sign-ups take place at the start of the event.
