Anna Strickland

Anna Strickland spent her teenage years in Japan and later attended the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice. She received an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and taught Antique and Alternative Photography at Rhode Island School of Design for over 30 years. Her photography has been inspired by her reading, everything from poetry to literature to the sciences, and since 2004 has revolved around humankind’s relationship with the natural world, including the issues of climate change and endangered/extinct animals.
